In a massive boost to India’s "Make in India" and "Aatmanirbhar Bharat" visions, Amber Group has officially broken ground on two flagship manufacturing facilities in the YIEDA region near Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. The double-launch includes a 100-acre Ultra Mega air conditioner plant and a 16-acre advanced High-Density Interconnect (HDI) PCB facility under Ascent-K Circuit.
Backed by MeitY’s Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), the HDI PCB unit leverages the joint expertise of Ascent Circuits and Korea Circuit Co. to localize high-end electronics production. Meanwhile, the sprawling AC facility will scale up in phases to drive import substitution and meet soaring domestic demand. The landmark ceremony was attended by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, alongside Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw and Bhupender Yadav, underscoring Uttar Pradesh's rising status as a premier industrial powerhouse.
“This expansion marks a decisive step in our journey to build large-scale, technology-intensive manufacturing capabilities,” noted Jasbir Singh, Executive Chairman and CEO of Amber Group.
